Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which orders placed on My City Prime Store may be cancelled by customers or sellers.

By placing an order on the Platform, you agree to the terms stated below.


1. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch without any cancellation charges.

  • Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the Return Policy.

  • Cancellation availability may vary by product category and seller.


2. SELLER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

Sellers may cancel an order in cases such as:

  • Product out of stock

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Delivery constraints

  • Quality or compliance issues

Repeated seller-initiated cancellations may attract penalties or account suspension.


3. CANCELLATION PROCESS

  • Cancellation requests must be initiated through the My City Prime Store platform.

  • Orders cancelled successfully will reflect the status on the order details page.

  • Requests raised outside the eligible window may be rejected.


4. REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ORDERS

  • If the order is cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be initiated.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or wallet used.

  • Refund timelines:

    • UPI / Wallets: 3–5 business days

    • Debit / Credit Cards: 5–10 business days

    • Net Banking: 5–7 business days

Actual credit time depends on the payment provider or bank.


5. PARTIAL CANCELLATIONS

  • Partial cancellation of multi-item orders may be allowed depending on seller and product availability.

  • Refunds for cancelled items will be processed separately.


6. NON-CANCELLABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed:

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Perishable goods

  • Digital or downloadable products

  • Items marked as “Non-Cancellable” on the product page


7. PLATFORM RIGHTS

My City Prime Store reserves the right to:

  • Cancel orders in case of suspected fraud or policy violations

  • Modify cancellation eligibility based on category or operational requirements

  • Restrict cancellation privileges in case of misuse


8. SELLER OBLIGATIONS

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory

  • Promptly confirming or cancelling orders when required

  • Avoiding unnecessary cancellations

Non-compliance may lead to penalties or account suspension.


9. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

My City Prime Store reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform.


10. GOVERNING LAW

This Cancellation Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie with courts located in DELHI
